I generally only work with a small number of album and framing suppliers and each has been selected on the basis of quality, attention to detail and because they all offer a superior range of styles and finishes. For albums I work with Graphi, Folio and Queensberry and for frames and canvasses I work with a company called Ultimat.
Ultimat only create frames, mounts and canvasses for professional photographers and I have chosen to work with them because I genuinely believe they are the leading photography presentation company within the UK. Ultimat cater for both traditional and contemporary tastes and have a incredibly wide range of options to choose from.
Graphi is an Italian based album company and one of the few who produce albums, which are specifically designed for newborn photography. Their albums are pared down and understated and work really well with the simplicity of newborn photography I work hard to achieve.
Folio is a UK based company and their albums are designed by photographers – for photographers. Stewart Randall, the founder of Folio, was a photographer unable to find a great, UK based album company so he created one of his own and Folio was born. Folio albums are beautiful yet simple and combine traditional craftsmanship with modern and contemporary print and production techniques.
Queensberry is based in New Zealand and is widely regarded as the best album producer in the world. The Queensberry team possesses a wealth of history and experience and each album is handmade using the finest materials. Their range of album covers, mount types and photographic paper is second to none and will enable you to create a truly unique album that’s exactly right for you.
