When people come to me for their newborn art photography session it’s often the first time they’ve ventured out with their new baby. I’m very aware of this and work hard to make sure that it’s a very special time. I want Mums and Dads to relax, sit back and enjoy watching me photograph their baby. Many people (especially those with older siblings) say that it’s often the first opportunity they’ve had to sit down, relax and really study their new baby. Newborn photography sessions vary a great deal! Most tiny babies are wonderfully sleepy whilst some are much more awake, needing regular feeds, changes and a much longer session – all are absolutely fine and, whatever happens, you’ll find that my shoots are relaxed, easy going and totally unhurried. I will send out some really useful information before your session so that you can help to prepare your baby and ensure that they are happy and relaxed when we begin. Please remember to get in touch as soon as you know your due date so that we can secure a place for your newborn baby photography session.
Once your images have been edited I will contact you so that I can arrange to show them to you for the first time. Whilst I love and embrace the flexibility of digital photography I firmly believe that beautiful photographs aren’t only for albums or, worse still, to be left forgotten on computers or hard drives. Once you have chosen your favourite images we can select the wall art options that are right for you and your home. I work with a small number of album, frame and canvas suppliers who produce a beautiful range of traditional and contemporary options. I will be able to show you a selection of canvasses, frames and albums so that we can choose the products that are right for you.
