Emily + Oggy
Autumn is probably my favourite time for equine photography. Although the colours of the turning leaves are obviously beautiful I especially love the way all the greens become more muted and much less grassy green! It’s as if the whole colour palette changes – not just the leaves on the trees. This gives lovely warmth to the images and really allows the horse and rider to take centre stage. Autumn sun is also so much gentler than summer sun and far more flattering – what’s not to like??

RELAXED AND NATURAL EQUINE PHOTOGRAPHY
When it comes to photographing horses I don’t really have a favourite colour but I would have to admit that photographing a bright chestnut in an autumn setting is about as good as it gets. Oggy is such a lovely horse and he and Emily clearly have a wonderful relationship. I love these images and think they have captured a moment in time beautifully.
